    90-minute intake session, weekly 60-90 minute sessions each month, text or email check-ins twice a week, final two-hour closing session to integrate and create steps moving forward. Individualized plans are created in the intake session but can be shifted throughout the process.

  • Parts-work coaching

    These services are in support of identifying and accessing protected, wounded, and conflicting parts of the self that create barriers to achieving desired goals. If you know what goals you want to achieve and have an idea of how to get there, but find yourself not able to start doing the things you want to start doing, or not able to stop doing the things you want to stop doing, parts-work coaching can help to shed light on what is occurring internally. By coming to understand your various parts, unburdening blocks, and move from polarization to integration, you are able to engage in life with increased confidence, compassion, clarity, and achieve goals with more ease.

  • Mind-body Somatic coaching

    These services can be tailored to focus on enhancement in career, creativity, relationships, meaning and purpose, health, and life satisfaction. Coaching services are not treatment for a mental health diagnosis, but rather in service of improving general well-being, performance, and growth. A combination of somatic practices and goal creation and support are utilized to assist people in clarifying what they want or need, overcoming barriers and obstacles, and implementing plans for action. This approach is recommended for those who wish to be free of fears that prevent desired actions, to change the nature of their current and future relationships, and to align with their fullest potential.

  • Meditation guidance

    A daily mindfulness and meditation practice, and its associated benefits, are accessible to anyone in this here and now moment. Beginning from within, mindfulness and presence honors the mind-body-life energetic connection and supports an increased awareness of all aspects of the self and lived experience. Many people miss the fact that meditation is a direct waking experience, always available, and feel they “cannot” meditate because it takes some sort of special effort or absence of experience. Guidance supports recognizing what meditation actually is, how the ways we have been taught to meditate actually block us from presence, and teaching how to connect to our awareness in every moment. We learn to cultivate a waking meditative experience that can be lived, rather than limited to sitting quietly alone.

  • Birth preparation

    The transition into parenthood is a time of intense transformation as you learn to prepare your body and mind for pregnancy, labor, recovery and taking care of a new child. We focus on implementing self-care practices, learning about options and how to advocate for needs and wants, creating a labor and postpartum blueprint, and developing a network of support for a smoother transition into the birth process and parenthood. Support can also include rites of passage ceremonies, exploring and releasing fears, mindfulness and visualization practices, affirmations and mantras, and preparation to manage anticipated pain.

Background

Sarah earned a master's degree in counseling with a specialization in marriage and family therapy from Saint Mary's College of California in 2013. She is certified in MDMA-assisted therapy with MAPS, Integrative Somatic Trauma-Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Reiki (master level), and a certified breathwork coach with Soma Breath. She has also trained extensively in the areas of somatic-based approaches, trauma-informed care, ancient spiritual traditions, and energy healing practices.
