What is Breathwork?

  • A combination of rhythmic breathing techniques and breath holds are employed in combination with curated music to bring about states of deep relaxation, bliss, and non-ordinary consciousness. These states bring you to what you need to know or experience in this moment and seeds healing in support of creating the future you desire.

Participants are invited to sit up straight or lay down with their backs flat on the floor. We provide mats and eye masks. You can use a pillow of your own if you wish.

You are led through a gentle movement exercise, followed by a guided meditation accompanied by music and 4 to 5 rounds of rhythmic breathing.

  • Sarah holds an active certification through Soma Breath and interweaves teachings from Holotropic and pranayama breathwork, parts work, somatic mindfulness, trauma-informed care and release, energy and sound healing. Approaches and journeys are tailored to each person or small group and for their specific intentions and goals.
